cut out switch

Hello, i am looking for a CUT OUT switch for my fridge.

I want a switch, which when the electricity goes out shuts off and will remain shut off until i manually turn it on, so the fridge will not turn on automatically when the electricity is restored.

i tried to search online for this cut out switch but did not find anything suitable for a fridge (or TV or AC).

Can anyone please suggest anything?

I could not find one, either. But you could make one using a relay like this - the only extras needed would be a push button and a case.

A feature you might want to add...a warning light at the fridge, to indicate that the relay must be reset after the power comes back. see attached.

Oops. I changed the connections of the lamp/power/fridge on the upper relay contacts.
