Trying to identify EZ1S841

Postby Bhante » Fri Feb 07, 2014 8:37 pm

I am trying to identify a part with the ST logo and the marking code EZ1S841 (also 324 in small digits above the 841), but strangely I cannot find any trace of it either on the ST site or in google, datasheet archives etc. Can anyone help?

It is a 14-pin SOIC (i.e. 3.90 x 8.65 mm), and is on a very simple circuit controlling the heating element of a small humidifier. It is switching a power MosFET, and input includes two thermistors. There are no other significant components in the control part of the circuit.

ST has logic chips in this package, but none that I could find with anything like this marking. They have legacy MCUs (ST6) in SOIC-16 but no SOIC-14.

The 4th character could just about be a 5 - actually it looks like the mirror image of a 2. All the other characters are unambiguous.

Thanks for any help.
