What diode (or resistor) is this!?!?

Postby Gribbie » Wed Jan 29, 2014 8:31 pm

So i have a Korg Kaoss Pad 3 FX processor that i took apart due to a malfunction in one of the buttons recently(A membrane button to be specific). I noticed that on the backside of the motherboard a diode was missing. The problem is i cannot for the life of me figure out how to identify this one. Its got two bands, the first yellow followed by a silver..that is, if it even is a diode. If anyone can point me into finding out what this is so i can order a new one that would be phenomonal.

The part not working is the #1 button across the top. It is just a setting button.

These sensors are on the otherside of the diodes, thats where the membrane button pushes down and activates.

looks like a standard 1n4148 type, used to decode keyboard logic. the stripe is the cathode end.
