What component is this?

Postby sunilsuta » Mon Jan 28, 2013 3:09 pm

It is given that this component is called TRM of 22pF .but I went to buy a new one(in order to replace the worn out one)they gave me some other type of cap.so can anyone tell me its actual name?I've uploaded its photo.

Your photo is too big to view and is defocussed.
Can you improve the focus and compress it into a smaller file?

It is a variable capacitor and the '2' means its value can be adjusted from 2pF to 22pf. It is probably used to adjust the frequency of an LC oscillator.

I can't understand why it was 'worn out'.

Its terminals are flat and too big to be inserted into the PCB.so when I was making it to correct shape to solder properly, one terminal broke..

Your image is not clear. So I can't recognize the elements which ask you for. Can you replace the image so, I am able to describe that element.

Once again you're resurrecting a post that is more than three years old.
Do you seriously think the original poster is going to reply, let alone still have that circuit so he can take another picture?
Plus, if you really knew anything about electronics, it can be easily seen that its a trimming capacitor.
Can you please NOT post on old threads.
Thank you.
