Please help me identify a part

Hey guys,

I really hope you can help me. I have to replace a pot meter but for the love of me I can't figure out what to replace it with. All I have is that it's an 8 pin pot meter (or an encoder maybe?) with the numbers 9334 203A on it. It's used in a digital mixing panel where it controls some output volume. Does anyone know what these numbers mean or what to replace this part with?
