General question related to rackmount cases.

Hello,
I want to know whether rackmount cases are designed for music equipment are compatible with rackmount computer servers. Any suggestions or ideas is mostly welcome.

Hello,
The Rack Mounts are the same size. They normally come in two sizes 17" and 19". But the Screw Threads are different, for AV 10-32
and for Computer racks 12-24. You can also find some racks with M6 (6mm) thread sizes.

There are also some other size racks, but they make adapters
to convert them to 17 or 19 inch.
