General question related to PC power supply.

Postby Dainard Jackson » Tue May 03, 2011 3:01 pm

Hello,
One of my friends is looking for a power supply for a Mac 7300 or something and wants me to find one. I have a standard one for Pentium IV and dual core Intel type units, I want to know whether they will work on a Mac.

Thanks

Check the ratings of each supply and check the connectors/pinouts match. If not, buy a proper power supply for the mac. It would be safer to just buy a power supply for mac rather than trying to see if it would match and then fry the motherboard!

You might be able to find some on ebay.

Admin.
