dc-cdi 12/220 issue

Postby oldsnake » Sun Aug 16, 2015 1:01 am

I want to build a dc-cdi by the circuit as shown.I have a problem: If install 1 transistor(tip122) output voltage equal to 220 vac if install 2 transistors(tip122) an output voltage equal to 158 vac.Why is this?
What do I need to use two transistor voltage = 200 vac.?
Thank.

Do you mean if you use just Q1, you get 220VAC out. If you use just Q2 you get 220VAC out. But if you use Q1 and Q2 you only get 158VAC out. Have you looked at the transistors' collectors and the transformer's output with an O-scope?

ken Yes I mean your post. I start in electronic no have O-scope. Can I simulate in proteus and use O-scope in program?

Sorry, I don't use simulators, but I would hope that Proteus has an o-scope function that could help you trouble shoot your circuit. If you post the simulator file, maybe others that use and have a lot of experience with that program could see what's happening.
