Resistance to voltage output

Postby shanakaplus » Fri May 23, 2014 1:52 pm

Hi. I have fuel sensor which gives 240 -30ohm resistance output according to the tank fuel level. When tank is entry 240ohm resistance output and when tank is full 30 ohm resistance output. I want to convert this signal to voltage output such as when tank is empty 0v volt and when tank is full 5v volt output. My supply voltage is 12v. I am going to us this signal to my gps system. Please help me to design a circuit. Thank you.

I assume you will want a linear relationship between resistance and voltage (is resistance linear with contents of the tank)?

What sort of accuracy are you looking for?
