I need to convert dc Pulse width modulated output from arduino to ac to regulate an ac fan of 220v. how to do it?

Hi,
the correct way: first convert PWM to DC voltage, e.g 0 to 10V. Build a DC-controlled AC-dimmer with triac or SCR output.
