Maximum current allowed by berg connector

Postby murugesh_89 » Thu Jun 06, 2013 7:19 am

Hi,
I want to pass some 9A of current through a berg connector. The maximum current which can be passed per pin is 3A as per the manufacturer. So i know if i give 9A through it, the connector will burn.

So want to know if i short three pins of both male and female, will it can able to carry 9A of current or will it burn?

Thanks,
Murugesh

It's logical that if one pin will take 3A then three pins will take 9A.
