Hello,

There is a mosfet called "Depletion/Enhancement Mosfet" which can be used in two modes either depletion or enhancement.

However there is another type of mosfet called "Enhancement mosfet" which is the one I am looking for and shown at 12:30 of the following video:

This type of mosfet simply accepts positive threshold voltage at the gate which allows an N-channel to be formed by minority carriers connecting the drain to the source. The higher the gate voltage above the Voltage threshold, the more minority carriers form creating a bigger N channel thus allowing more current through drain/source. Is this exactly what the 2N7000 part does?
