Exercise circuit timer

Postby guitsax » Wed Jul 11, 2012 3:51 pm

Hi, I'm wanting to build a timer for different physical exercises at home. ( hate gyms)
The routine I'm following consists of 5 exercises . The first is 2minutes then 3x 1minute exercises and lastly a 6minute exercise -- totalling 11minutes. I want a start bleep/buzz for each exercise and to end each exercise with 5 bleeps/buzzes giving time to get ready for the next new exercise. If possible could someone help me with a circuit please.
Thanks in advance

Hi,

This is something that the microcontroller programming boards would eat up.
This would involve pretty simple programming and minimal hardware to implement.
Posting to support forums and boards focusing on mCus like the Arduino, the Basic Stamp or the PIC would yield you much better results, I believe.

I am *not* much of a programmer, so I only have advice, not an answer; sorry.

Hope this helps.
