multiple light circuits on mutliple breakers on one switch

Postby tcomo » Sat Dec 10, 2011 2:11 am

I have a store that has about 8 rows of 10 florescent light fixtures on about 5 seperate breakers. I would like to see if there is a way that I could tie them in together and use one switch. Some type of relay system or something like that?

Did you check to see if the circuit breakers in the panel need to be changed? Are they old or new?

You want to setup like a series circuit of some kind? You can put multiple breakers on one switch and if it's just low strength lights then it won't put much load on the circuit breakers. You might want to look into a switched relay controller.
