Printed Circuit Boards

Postby MacM » Sat Jan 10, 2004 7:53 pm

I have come across a way to create 1 off high quality double sided PCB's for $10 or $15 with tin plating. I am doing some research to see if other electronic hobbiest would pay 10 - 15$ for hassle free 1 off PCB's.

Any feedback that you may have would be much appreciated!!

I etch my own PCB's wherever possible. I would, however, pay for a profesionally produced PCB if I needed very thin tracks that just aren't possible with photo etching.

Thank you for your feedback. Yes I am the same way. I know have a machine capable of doing very thin traces with very low cost. How many PCB's do you do a month on average??

Thanks again for your feedback!

As I have only recently been studying the electronics field for a year and a half I have only made one PCB using the colleges Etching tank.
As I do not manufacture my own circuits very often I am very interested in taking it up as hobby. So for the near future if I require any PCBs to be made I will be sure to give you a bell.

I probably don't etch more than one a month, I only etch them for my own projects, so I don't need to do a lot of etching.
